Fiscally Responsible Services Expansion

We know Wheeling Township residents are facing many needs. From better senior transportation services, fighting hunger through an expanded food pantry, and expanding mental health services, we can expand these services with the responsible use of taxpayer dollars instead of more property tax increases.

The current Township Board has continued inflating already bloated reserves and raising our property taxes at the same time. We can and should meet these needs without demanding more from taxpayers.

Responsive Government

Elected officials at every level have a responsibility to listen to and act on the needs of residents. A “business as usual” attitude never works for government. We will listen to your concerns and work collaboratively with you to find solutions.

Transparency and Accountability

The current Township Board frequently makes decisions about property tax levies and other important items with little or no discussion at public meetings. We will bring actual transparency and accountability to the Township. We’ll also modernize the Township to provide more accessible services, stream board meetings, and provide transparent disclosure of meeting minutes, agenda items, and the operations of the Township.
